Spokane pays $98 per ton to get rid of their garbage (highest in the state), and now our recycling rate is below state average. What a MESS! Who’s in charge of this asylum?

nice to see someone speak out. I've notice4d for yrs. how high "utility" bills are and that's w/o even using water. garbage rate, "privilege o use garbage", tax, tax on the tax, water "right", water transpo right", blah, blah. And their garbage service is horrible. High, over priced and they poke through your garbage, litter all around your property, toss your cans around or leave them in the way, charge too much for extra bag or can, etc. Complete rip-offs. glad i moved to county. I haul my own garbage now!!!
