Helmet Law

By Bryan

This is the worst government abuse I have ever seen in my life. Spokane is lucky to have someone like mayor west who can think things out and decide between what’s right and wrong. I cannot believe the people of Spokane can actually elect these council members that impose their own agenda over what the citizens want. I
Believe all laws should be voted on by the people so these ignorant elected officials cannot do these horrible acts Of disservice to our community. I do not disagree people should wear helmets while riding bikes etc.. But we should be free to make those decisions with out government intervention after all that’s what America is all about. This is a bad pattern of government abuse that has been going on now for about 15 years. This is not just local government it’s all government. It's about the elected and nonelected officials imposing theirs and special interest agendas and I know for a fact our founding fathers would not approve of this. So I guess the next question is what to do about these people.

The next time you vote look at the person you least know about on the ballot instead of the person that has the most signs or has the most money that’s the person that more than likely thinks like you and I and not about themselves. It’s too easy to just pick the person you here of the most and fill in the box. Lets continue to make our own decisions about how we run our lives and stop thinking we cannot do anything about it and we just have to live with it.

"RE: Helmet Law Article: Dear Bryan

That was the most ignorantly written article i have ever read!

I agree that people need to run the government in a democracy. The point is ignorant ____s like you most likely dont even turn out to do so. If you want to write and persuade people for your cause you have to sound credible, not like some pissed off fool on the street."
